Whilst teaching at the International Academy of Design & Technology as an Online Adjunct Instructor I taught Adobe Illustrator. One of the assignments was to find an image online to vectorize. As an example, I would choose a black cat and would proceed to show the online students how to use Layers, the Pen Tool, Color Opacity and Brushes to trace the image and ultimately create a vector version of the image. The cats you see here are a few of the results from the examples I did. I did not save all of these because at the time I thought they were really easy to knockout but now I wish I had.
